burn games copy xbox games64 Is Game Copy Pro legitimate?
    Sebz asked:

I was just looking at different possibilities for playing backup games, without having to mod your console. Particularly, my Xbox 360. I came across Game Copy Pro. They claim that the program will copy and burn games that will run right, like normal. I’ve read mixed reviews on it, though. Some people say it works, others say it doesn’t. I just want a new opinions on what people think about it. Also, is there a trial version of it?
Oh, here’s the website, http://www.gamecopypro.com/, just in case you want to take a look.

    • It seems Boot legged/ Piracy, Be careful

    • That is a complete load a bull. I downloaded that program a looooong time ago when I was younger and unexpierenced in the field. There is a whole “underground” market of Mod-chips and different ways to mod your system to make it play backups. Each video game system has many checks to be assured that it is a legitimate game. Microsoft and Sony have put millions of dollars in the research of their system to make sure that copied games DO NOT PLAY. No way can you put in a 360 game into your computer and rip the data and burn to a backup and play on your 360 without the system being modded. PC drives can’t even read the sectors of the 360 games. You have to buy a specific drive that has been flashed with hacked firmware to read 360 games. The 360 can be modded by one of two ways. 1.) Flash the firmware of the DVD drive which involves opening the console and voiding your warranty. 2.) install a mod chip which involves opening console and voiding warranty. Do different variations of googling “Mod chip” without the quotations. You will find many sites to buy chips and most have a service where you can mail them your console and they will do the firmware mod. Keep in mind that if you play a lot on xbox live you will eventually probably be banned. If you do do this, you can also look on lots of sites for people who will sell and mail you game backups. ioffer is a site i’ve found people selling backups. Trust me, you will NOT be able to play a backup without some sort of mod to your system. The Dreamcast was the last console that you could burn games to cd and play without the need of modding and it went belly up and crushed SEGA to the point that it just does software now.

    • I dont think you should do that. Be careful if you do. :)
